I was able to get an abdomen MRI this past Tuesday. Talked to my oncologist this evening. There is definitely a new 1.6 cm lesion in the liver which did not exist on the liver MRI taken in Oct 2016 in Korea. However, the latest MRI results are still equivocal. The radiologist can’t say for sure whether the lesion is cancerous or not. So my oncologist ordered a PET scan again.

Please pray that insurance will approve the PET scan this time. Pray for a smooth test with clear, definitive and accurate results, for a meticulous radiologist who will read the images in detail and diagnose correctly. And pray for wisdom for oncologist to determine whether treatment options should be changed.
